Withdrawal, returns and warranty — Germany

Your statutory right of withdrawal

For consumer purchases delivered to Germany, you may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods. If one order is delivered in separate parts, the period starts when the last item is received. Sending your clear withdrawal statement before the deadline is sufficient.

Withdraw from your contract: sign in with the email used for your order and the one-time code, select the order and use the available cancellation or return action, then confirm your request. You may also withdraw by email or letter; your statutory withdrawal does not require a reason or our prior approval. If an account action is unavailable, contact return@emiliaz.com.

Sending the goods back

Send the goods back within a further 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal. Use the return address below. Contact return@emiliaz.com if you need practical shipping instructions; requesting instructions is not a condition for a valid withdrawal. You bear the direct return-shipping cost for a change-of-mind withdrawal. We cover necessary return costs for faulty or incorrect goods.

You may examine goods as you would in a shop. You are responsible only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging is helpful where available, but its absence does not remove your statutory right.

Refunds

We reimburse payments, including the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery we offered for a full withdrawal, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first. Extra costs for a more expensive delivery option are not reimbursed. We use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without a fee. Your bank may need additional time to display the credit.

Discounts and exceptions

Discounted goods are covered by the same statutory withdrawal right. Earrings are not automatically excluded. The statutory hygiene exception applies only to genuinely unsuitable-for-return health or hygiene goods delivered sealed, where the seal has been removed after delivery. Other statutory exceptions apply only when their legal conditions are met. Faulty-goods rights remain unaffected.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Return an eligible item and place a new order for the alternative.

Statutory rights and the additional EMILIAZ warranty

New goods have a free statutory legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years. Any longer mandatory rights remain unaffected. Where the legal conditions are met, remedies include repair or replacement and, subsequently, a price reduction or withdrawal, as well as other applicable statutory remedies.

Additional 12-month manufacturing warranty

In addition, EMILIAZ LIMITED provides a voluntary warranty for 12 months from delivery against manufacturing defects, faulty clasps or closures and tarnishing or plating problems caused by a material fault. It does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or unauthorised repairs. It does not replace or reduce statutory rights. We assess the fault and arrange the appropriate remedy under the warranty and applicable law; necessary faulty-goods return costs are covered.
