About this policy
EMILIAZ Limited (“EMILIAZ”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates emiliaz.com and its related features, tools and services. Our online store is powered by Shopify.
This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you browse our website, place an order or otherwise interact with us. If it conflicts with our Terms of Service, this policy takes priority for matters concerning personal information.
Information we collect
Personal information is information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Information that is genuinely anonymous falls outside this definition. Pseudonymised information, including hashed contact details that can be matched to a person, remains personal information.
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.
- Payment details: your payment method, partial card details and transaction confirmations. EMILIAZ does not store full credit or debit card details; these are handled by payment processors.
- Account information: account credentials, preferences and settings, where applicable.
- Shopping activity: products you view, add to your basket or wishlist, buy, return or cancel.
- Messages: enquiries, return requests and warranty claims.
- Device information: your IP address, browser, device type, operating system and referring website.
- Website activity: pages you visit, clicks and time spent on the website.
- Inferred preferences: interests and shopping patterns suggested by your activity.
Where information comes from
- From you: when you create an account, order, subscribe to emails or contact us.
- From your visit: through cookies, analytics tools and information sent by your device.
- From service providers: including Shopify, payment processors, delivery partners and marketing tools working on our behalf.
- From other partners: where applicable, through advertising platforms, analytics services or social media integrations.
How we use your information
- Orders and your account: process purchases, arrange delivery, manage preferences, send order updates and handle returns and warranty claims.
- Your shopping experience: recommend products, improve website performance and understand how our services are used.
- Marketing and advertising: send promotional emails, show relevant advertising and measure marketing performance.
- Security: authenticate accounts, detect fraud and protect our website and transactions.
- Customer support: answer questions, resolve issues and handle disputes.
- Legal requirements: meet our obligations, respond to lawful requests and address legal claims.
You can stop promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. Order and service messages may still be needed to manage a purchase or request.
The legal reasons for using information
The lawful basis depends on the purpose and the information involved:
- Contract: where information is needed to fulfil your order or provide a service you request.
- Legal obligations: where we must keep records or use information to meet applicable law.
- Legitimate interests: where necessary for security, fraud prevention and appropriate customer support, where consent is not required and where those interests do not override your rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing or tracking where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on that consent.
Who we share information with
We may share relevant information with:
- Shopify: to operate the store, checkout, fraud prevention and analytics.
- Service providers: payment processors, couriers, fulfilment partners and email providers.
- Analytics and advertising services: Google Analytics/Ads, Meta and TikTok, to understand website use, measure campaigns and show relevant advertising, subject to applicable privacy choices.
- Others at your request: for example, when you use an integration or give delivery instructions.
- Related companies: where applicable.
- Authorities or advisers: where needed to meet legal obligations, protect rights or address safety concerns.
- Parties to a business transaction: where relevant to a merger, acquisition or dissolution.
Advertising features may share hashed email addresses or telephone numbers. Hashing converts these details into coded values that advertising platforms may match with information they already hold. It does not make the information anonymous.
Shopify’s role
Shopify hosts our store and processes information to provide its services to us. Shopify may process checkout information, device and usage data, fraud signals and analytics. It generally acts as our processor, and may act as a controller for certain services that it provides independently.
Where enhanced Shopify services are enabled, Shopify may use information from interactions with this store and other merchants as described in its own privacy policy.
Read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy for details. You can also make Shopify-related requests through the Shopify privacy portal.
Security and how long we keep information
We use measures to protect personal information, but no system or method of transmission is completely secure.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including fulfilling orders, managing accounts, improving services, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. The period depends on the type of record, the purpose, applicable legal requirements and whether a claim or dispute requires us to keep it longer.
Contact privacy@emiliaz.com if you would like information about the retention of a particular type of record.
Your privacy rights
Your rights depend on where you live and the circumstances. Where applicable, you can:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of information.
- Request portability of information in a usable format.
- Restrict certain processing.
- Object to processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
- Opt out of targeted advertising where applicable law provides that right.
- Ask for human review of decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects, where this right applies.
To make a request, email privacy@emiliaz.com and tell us what you would like to do. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity. Some rights have legal conditions or exceptions, including where information must be kept to meet a legal obligation.
Information processed outside your country
Shopify and other service providers may process information outside the country where you live, including in Canada and the United States.
Where required, transfers are supported by recognised safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms. You can contact privacy@emiliaz.com for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Our services are not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals below the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion where appropriate.
